Bradford City have been put on Sky Blue alert for the remainder of the season.
Although the Bantams are poised to drop into Division One, boss Jim Jefferies has insisted there is plenty to play for in the last five games.
And he has set his players the target of clambering off the bottom and finishing above Manch-ester City and Coventry.
Jefferies said: "There are still things to aim for. We don't want to finish bottom of the league and we don't want to finish with the lowest points record.
"We've equalled Wat-ford's 24 from last season so we need one more point to beat that and then we'll try to finish as high as we can.
"We want to get above Manchester City at least and we are on the right lines. If we can finish the season with a charge, we'll still be disappointed to miss out but it will give us a boost going into next season."
City have been beaten only once in five games and could drag Everton into trouble by winning at Goodison Park on Saturday - a result the visitors must pull off to delay relegation into May.
Jefferies said: "We're not just getting the results but it's the way we are achieving them which is really pleasing because we've played a lot of good football.
"I don't think anyone would relish playing Bradford City at the moment, especially if they are under pressure.
"If we can go to Everton and hopefully play as well as we did at Tottenham recently - then we will be well capable of getting another victory.
"It's disappointing to go out of the Premiership because it's a terrific league but you have to look at the bigger picture.
"A lot has had to be sorted out. When I came here we had a big squad but when you've got a lot of experienced boys out, it's never ideal and sometimes doesn't create the right atmosphere.
"You have to contend with that and find out who you want and who you don't. You have to find the right balance and it takes time."
