Bradford Park Avenue won promotion to the UniBond Premier Division last night with a thrilling 4-1 win.
Now they need just one more point from their last three matches to be crowned champions.
A joyous manager Trevor Storton praised players and supporters after seeing his team beat Witton Albion in style at Horsfall Stadium last night.
Avenue went into last night's match needing just one point to make sure of promotion, but they achieved their objective in style by scoring three goals in the last 15 minutes.
"It was great to turn on such a good performance in front of our own supporters," said Storton. "We have had fantastic support all season and I think we richly deserve our promotion."
Storton said: "I have been manager for four and a half years and we have progressed every year. We have probably had a bit more cover this year and that has made a difference.
"This is also the first time we have had a bit of money to spend and that enabled us to buy Andy Hayward from Frickley for £10,000.
"He is our leading scorer with 27 goals and has showed with his performances and his goals that he is worth the money we spent."
