OAKBANK pupils Jamie Chambers and Dean Cunningham ran in the Adidas Mini-Marathon over 2 kilometres.
The teenagers were representing the school and were also part of a west Yorkshire Schools team selected from last year's successful English Schools Cross Country squad.

Country champion raised £206 for Manorlands and finished in the top 40 out of over 200 runners.
The keen sportsman is also the Bradford Schools singles badminton champion and was a semi-finalist in the Easter Doubles comptetition.
He has also been selected for the Yorkshire badminton team.
The West Yorkshire team were competing against 33 borough teams, 10 county teams and two regional teams.
Bingley Harrier Stuart MacDonald became one of the district's highest finishers in the Flora London Marathon itself when he raced to a top finish.
Stuart, 35, from Riddlesden, finished 48th in at ime of 2hrs 28mins 24secs.
He was just over 20 minutes behind the winner, Moroccan Abdelkader El Mouaziz.
He spent much of the race close to the leaders of the women's race with double Olympic 10,000 metres champion, Etheopian Deratu Tulu finishing just five minutes ahead in a time of 2:23:57.
