More than a dozen students, eight schools and several organisations based in the Shipley area have benefited from grants awarded by a foundation set up more than a century ago by Saltaire's founder Sir Titus Salt.
Trustees of the Salt Foundation have given out grants worth hundreds of pounds to 14 students to help them with course fees, equipment and books.
The schools receiving assistance are Salt Grammar, Hirst Wood Nursery and High Crags, Windhill Church of England, Glenaire, Cottingley, Low Ash and St Anthony's primary schools.
Now applicants in the Saltaire and Shipley area wanting to be considered in the future for a grant for educational purposes are being invited to apply for an application by writing to The Clerk to the Salt Foundation, Committee Secretariat, Room 112, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY or by phoning (01274) 754287.
Trustees will decide how money is spent in October.
