It was business as usual for Silsden's Dougie Lampkin in the second round of the world trials championship in Pacos de Ferreira, Portugal.
Lampkin ran out winner of the opening day, despite losing concentration on the seventh section and incurring a five mark penalty.
"I made quite a good start, but I became paranoid about the inconsistent observing in section seven," he confessed. "I was so focussed on not stopping that I totally lost my concentration and made a poor mistake that cost be a five where I should have cleaned.
He then confirmed his superiority on the second day.
Marc Freixa took second place and Graham Jarvis was edged out for third spot by Japan's Takahisa Fujinami but is second to Lampkin inb the overall standings.
Addingham builder Mark Dale, 31, did what many racers dread on Sunday when he crashed his Coffeecare-backed 125cc Grand Prix Honda on the last lap, at the brand new Carnaby Two track. Mark was leading the race easily when he slid off on the slowest corner of the track.
Uninjured, Mark rode back to the paddock to reflect on the one that got away and came out later to score second and third placings in supporting races.
In the sidecar races, Halifax crew Dan Clark and passenger Nigel Myers scored a third, two fourths and seventh on their 600cc Honda.
