Bulls coach Brian Noble insists his beaten Challenge Cup final squad are strong enough to win the Grand Final at Old Trafford in October.
Noble was bitterly disappointed to see his side under-perform against St Helens but is confident they can prove they are a champion outfit by reclaiming top spot against Warrington Wolves at Valley Parade tonight.
"It's certainly not a case of getting the guillotine out after Saturday because more often than not it is the best players who have been the reason why certain things haven't happened," explained Noble.
"You just have to look at things sensibly and try and fix it. But this squad is good enough to win the Grand Final and I have never wavered from that view even after Saturday.
"You have got to bear in mind that the team we played have three trophies in the cabinet and, other than the big games that everyone focuses on, we have a pretty good record against them.
"Had we played in any way, shape or form how we could play I am confident we could have beaten them and so were the players.
"Thankfully we get to ride the horse real quick again which is a good thing for the players,"says Noble.
"Normally you would want more preparation time and rest but it might be a good idea emotionally to get back out there tonight.
"The coaching staff have obviously looked at the video of the cup final and we need to that. We have analysed it three or four times now and certain things didn't happen for us.
"We didn't get the little breaks but at the end of the day we didn't play well by our standards.
"We have to find out the rea-sons for that and have come up with a couple of things which will probably help us through the season.
"Should we get to another big game it should enable us to play that bit better.
"I can understand the the fans reaction in a way but we certainly didn't prepare to play like that.
"People starting saying 'lets sack everybody' and start having a go. But while I was bitterly disappointed with the way we played I'm not going to wash my dirty linen in public and start hanging people out to dry because I am not that sort of person.
"We all go again and take a look at ourselves and if they aren't man enough to take it on the chin they won't be here long, that is the simple equation. That is how I work."
