Brave fundraiser Melanie Tingle put her head on the block to help raise more than £2,600 for a cancer charity.
Melanie, pictured, had her hair shaved off to raise cash for children's cancer charity Candlelighters, in memory of a little boy called Harvey Rhodes who died of cancer.
She went under the razor at a charity event held at the Hill Top Inn in Thornton at the weekend.
The event raised a total of £2,633 - around £1,000 of which came from sponsorship of Melanie's head shave, which was carried out by Susan Howard.
Melanie said: "It feels a bit strange without hair - quite cold - but it was worth it to raise that amount.
"I'd like to thank everyone who came along on the night and to the businesses and individuals who donated so many fabulous prizes."
