Christ Church.....1
What an eventful game on a cloudy spring day. Both sides started well with Jones and Forbes solid as ever. The 12th minute saw Hodgson go in for a 50-50 ball which resulted in a Christ Church player being stretchered off.
After a lengthy delay Pool continued the better, good work by Stott and Shippey led to Steval scoring with a crisp finish. Pool led 1-0 into the break.
Pool started slowly in the second- half and Hall could only watch as a Christ Church player scored from the near post. In the past Pool had folded under pressure but the back four of Forbes, Taylor, Jones and Kitchen stood strong.
Time for a change and in came Tolson, Boulton and Nicholson, and this changed the game. Pool pressure and excellent team work led to Steval completing his hat-trick. Pool stood firm and capped off a season which has had its ups and downs. The signs are there for an excellent season starting from August once again. Match point shared Steval and Hodgson.

Pool...........................2
Pateley Bridge, deep in Nidderdale can be bleak at the best of times. On a dull Thursday evening with the hills shrouded in fog and rain like stair rods turning the Bewerley Park pitch into a quagmire Pool and their small army of supporters must have wished they had stayed at home.
Pateley's better acclimatisation of the conditions showed as they outplayed Pool to take a three goal lead into the second-half.
In the second-half Pool came to the conclusion that as we are here we may as well show the home side what we can do, promptly taking the upper hand and but for some heroics form the Pateley 'keeper would have turned the tables completely on their hosts.
As it was they had to be content with goals from Shaun Joyce and Dave Jackson to give the score some respectability.
Recently returned from injury Robin Outterside showed signs of his class from last season and was deservedly awarded match point.

Ilkley AFC..............2
ON Tuesday night Pool and Ilkley met yet again and again it was a close run thing. The sides have now drawn both league games and taken a cup tie in extra-time and penalties so it was going to be close.
The sides were again well matched and Pool's goals came from Chris Graham and Matt Healey. Ilkley's equaliser in the final seconds of the game was going wide until the 'keeper fumbled the ball into his own net.
Tonight, Thursday, Pool visit Boroughbridge in the cup quarter-final and the winners will travel to Burley Trojans next Tuesday for a 6.30 pm kick-off.
On Saturday Pool play their last league game of the season at home to Beckwithshaw Saints (3 pm).
