Yeadon have been warned to expect a warm reception when Pakistan pace bowler Mohammad Akram makes his debut for Undercliffe.
The Test fast bowler arrived in England this week and is raring to make a big impression on the Bradford League Division One.
Undercliffe cricket chairman Brian Lymbery said: "He is very swift and I think the Yeadon batsmen will get a warm welcome from him.
"We are delighted to have him because we were just a little worried that he might be picked for Pakistan's tour of England."
The arrival of Akram is well timed because newly-promoted Undercliffe were dealt a body blow this week when their young off spinner Richard Dawson broke a finger while fielding as a substitute for Yorkshire during the Championship win over Kent last weekend. He will be out of action for six weeks.
Undercliffe opened the season with a convincing 131-run win over Brighouse and will be hoping to build on that success against a new-look Yeadon, who have lost experienced campaigners Neil Elvidge and Simon Gormley.
Champions Pudsey Congs will be another side unleashing a Pakistani fast bowler tomorrow. Naveeb Rana-ul-Hassan, who was rated the quickest bowler in the league when he starred for Lidget Green last season, makes his debut for his new club against Cleckheaton in what promises to be the game of the day.
Former Yorkshire and Warwickshire off spinner Paul Booth is the new Cleckheaton captain and he knows that Hassan will add strength to an already powerful side.
Booth said: "We saw him last year and he looked swift. He will add strength to an already strong attack which contains excellent bowlers like Neil Gill and James Middlebrook.
"Our bowling has a lot more depth to it and we are hoping that our South African all-rounder Derek Brand can make a big impact."
East Bierley are keeping their fingers crossed that they will have Pakistani all-rounder Jaffer Nazir in their side at home to newly-promoted Gomersal. Nazir, who has topped the Division One bowling averages for the past two seasons, should have arrived on Tuesday but missed his flight.
Bierley officials were expecting him to arrive later today. East Bierley could certainly do with Nazir because they are without their Yorkshire trio of Anthony McGrath, Gavin Hamilton and Michael Lumb.
Spen Victoria and Bradford & Bingley will certainly get to know each other this weekend. They follow up tomorrow's league clash at Spen Lane with a Priestley Cup first round tie at the same venue on Sunday.
Spen were frustrated last week when they were able to field Lancashire fast bowler John Wood in their side at Cleckheaton for the first time in five years. Sadly rain wrecked the encounter and he is wanted by his county this weekend.
