Morris Men took their traditional hill dance to Keighley Tarn due to foot and mouth disease restrictions but still enjoyed the dawn experience.
The May 1 dawn dance is traditionally held on the highest hill and the Oakworth Village Morris Men usually dance on Cowling Pinnacle.
However, due to the foot and mouth outbreak, they danced at Keighley Tarn from 5am until 6am.
The Squire of Oakworth Morris Men, Mark Ashton, says: "There was 12 of us and we danced as the sun came up because this traditionally brings fertility to the land for the summer.
"It is also traditionally the first dance out for the Morris season." He says that new members are welcome and anyone who is interested should contact Mr Ashton on 01535 691153.
