Grand Prix legend Jackie Stewart OBE is sharing his experiences of Formula One racing during a Bradford business conference.
The triple world champion is star guest at Finding New Ways of Doing Business, being staged at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television on June 26.
Mr Stewart will be speaking live via satellite from Belfast at the conference and using his knowledge as founder of the Stewart Racing team and non-executive director of Jaguar Racing to stress the importance of innovation.
He said: "During my entire life I have depended on, and won through because of, the quality and commitment of the people around me.
"I believe, passionately, in British engineering and innovation. The UK has become the centre of excellence for many of the world's top racing teams, from karts through to Formula One.
"But our ideas and creativity have also found their way into rally cars and the motor industry.
"I shall be sharing some of the milestones in my career and putting forward some ideas for how UK manufacturing can compete, and win, in an increasingly competitive world."
The conference is part of a nationwide link at 40 centres being put together by the Department of Trade and Industry.
The Bradford meeting is for all West Yorkshire businesses and the organisers hope to fill 300 seats at the museum's Pictureville cinema.
Regional sponsors include Yorkshire Forward, Business Link West Yorkshire and Bradford firms Gordons Cranswick solicitors and Baker Tilly Chartered Accountants.
Brian Burton, one of the organisers behind Bradford's conference, said: "It will be a valuable conference and we hope to fill all 300 seats.
"The aim of Bradford Breakthrough is to make the city a better place to work and live. This conference fits neatly into those aims."
