STEETON skipper Alex Howarth smashed 10 fours and four sixes in an astonishing opending day innings of 108 not out against Beckwithshaw.
The Summerhill Lane side reached 206-6 before the rain rescued the Beckwithshaw side.
Silsden 1st XI were in a strong position against Calverley when rain struck. The team's strike bowlers shared out the wickets with Andy Pullen (2-29), Andrew Emmott (3-37) and Mark Akrigg (2-32) in control.
Calverley were struggling at 129-7 when the match was abandoned after 47 overs.
Harden found the going tough after moving from the Bradford Central League. They entertained Upper Wharfedale who are starting their second season in the Aire-Wharfe after transferring from the Craven League.
This season the Dales side have the services of South Australian Tarkin Brown who captured four for 41 and Colin Stead ripped through the Harden batting finishing with figures of five for 24.
Harden were dismissed for 86 with Steve Raymond making a gritty 47 and could not prevent the Wharfedale side securing victory before the rain struck.
Silsden 2nds began their game against Calverley in bright sunshine, but heavy April showers forced the game to be abandoned at tea.
Calverley reached 160-7 in their innings after being 98-0 following 35 overs. Both openers, Simpson and Thornton shared half centuries while Paul Bainbridge took 3-50 in 19 overs and young Thomas Hodgson captured 3-48 in 12.
