FORMER player Dennis 'Buster' Mitchell, who was celebrating his 85th birthday on the day of the fans' meeting had little support for the players.
"Sport should be in your blood, you should play it from inside you, from the heart," he said.
He played with the club's second team in 1934 and also played internationals with the army side, including playing for the Calcutta Cup -- in Calcutta.
"I think the most I was ever paid was five shillings," he said.
