Bradford Boys are hoping to take a giant stride towards capturing the coveted Heinz English Schools' Under-15 Trophy at Valley Parade tonight.
The team, pictured during training last night, take on Swindon in the first leg of the final looking to establish a lead for the return match at the County ground next Wednesday.
Tim Leigh, general secretary of the Bradford Schools' Football Association, believes their incredible team spirit will have a big say in the outcome.
"The boys never know when they are beaten," he said. "They have won all 15 of their matches this season, but on a number of occasions have had to come from behind.
"They seem to have the ability to pull together. In the quarter-final they were 2-0 down to Hull with 20 minutes to go, but scored three times."
It is anticipated that the boys will be backed by a crowd of around 2,000 which will be housed in the Ciba Stand.
Swindon, who have scored plenty of goals in reaching the final, will provide another tough test.
"This is like the FA Cup final for schoolboys and we hope the Bradford public will turn out and give them their backing," added Leigh
"It is a tremendous honour for the boys to be playing at a stadium such as Valley Parade, and it will be even better if they can win."
Bradford have had a tough route to the final which started with a 3-2 extra-time win over Leeds. Bishop Auckland (1-0), Sefton (3-0), Hull (3-2) and Cambridge (4-1) have all fallen to Bradford on their way to the final of a competition they have only won once before - back in 1916 when they beat West Ham 3-1 in a one-off decider, also at Valley Parade.
