Bradford Bulls boss Brian Noble faces an immediate club versus country conflict after the itinerary for Australia's tour was revealed over the weekend.
Noble was due to wear his Great Britain assistant's hat for the clash with France in Carcassonne on Saturday, October 27 but it now clashes with the Bulls battle against world champions Australia at Valley Parade that weekend.
Chairman Chris Caisley said today: "When we talked with the Rugby League ab-out Brian taking the Great Brit-ain role it was a condition that it would not have any aff-ect on his job with the Bulls.
"On that basis I expect him to be in charge of us against the Aussies. It's a big honour for us to get a game against the world champions and it should be a great day."
The Bulls meeting with the Aussies will be played on either Saturday or Sunday that weekend depending on Bradford City's commitments.
Discounted tickets for Friday night's derby clash with Halifax at Valley Parade went on sale at Odsal today.
Any adult buying a ticket, for any area apart from the Sunwin Stand, can purchase another at half-price.
To qualify for the discount tickets must be obtained from Odsal in advance There will be no sales after 4pm on Friday.
