Two young people in Bradford are hoping to make it big in entirely different ways with the help of money that has been awarded to them by the Prince's Trust.
The smell of chilli, burgers and pizza will soon be emanating from Dobrudden Caravan Park on Baildon Moor, where 21-year-old Melody Lawrence is opening an American style diner at the end of June after receiving a £2,000 award.
And whether it is through modelling, singing, acting or as an all-round entertainer, 19-year-old Gavin Russell is sure he is going to hit the big time soon - thanks to help from the Youth Bank.
Melody is presently in the process of transforming the temporary building on her parents' caravan site and hopes to have the caf and restaurant, called the Spaghetti Western Diner, up and running by the end of June.
Melody said: "The building is all coming together and at present we are sorting out the drainage and pulling some interior walls down.
"There will be a Mexican influence, including chilli. And pizza will be on the menu as it is a western meal as well as an Italian dish.
"I have always been interested in the American thing and there is always a Harley Davidson rally up here each year.
"The diner will be mainly for the caravan site, tourists and gliders who come up here."
Gavin, who lives in West Bowling, has been awarded two development grants totalling £600 from the charity to help him further his ambitions of which £200 has helped him produce a modelling portfolio.
"I've just sent my portfolio off and I've heard back from a modelling agency saying they want to represent me.
"I needed the portfolio to help me get different work. Youth Bank has been good to me and helped me find work, it's been a great help.
"Now I've got my portfolio I can go and represent myself at different agencies."
With so many options open to him, Gavin has yet to decide whether to try to go into modelling, as he is keen to further develop his other talents.
"I'd like to do different stuff, music, singing, and modelling. I like travelling and I'd like to be able to travel around with my work."
Melody, who is also studying for a business degree at Bradford College, fully appreciates the efforts that the Prince's Trust has made to make her venture a possibility.
"The Prince's Trust has given me the chance to do this without me having much other money, or real financial background."
