Police had to restrain about 12 horses which were running loose on roads in Bradford today.
A number of motorists called the police to report the animals running on Bradford Road near the Thornbury roundabout and Dawson's Corner, Pudsey, at the Stanningley bypass.
The horses caused major delays for drivers trying to get into work.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire police said: "We received several calls reporting about 12 horses or so running around in that vicinity.
"The officers restrained the animals and have been trying to ascertain where they belong."
