BIRTWHISTLE Cup holders Guiseley enjoyed their romp in the sun on Sunday amassing 281-6 against Pool Mills who although outplayed were impressed with the sporting attitude of their opponents.
David Ross hit a fine 92 for Guiseley while skipper Nick Fraser made an unbeaten 44. Mills battled hard in reply and played out their full 45 overs before finally succumbing for 110. Chris Wain had the best return with 3-18.
