A specially-equipped police vehicle hit the streets of Bradford yesterday to catch street robbers on camera.
The pro-active patrols aim to help reassure the public in problem areas of the city and at the same time disrupt the activities of robbers.
Officers in the Bradford South division started the crackdown on street robberies with the arrest of six people.
And as the division continues its offensive against crime, the force's robbery reduction team, which includes PC Darren Simpson, pictured, will be in the city centre all week targeting offenders.
The force's Safer Streets van will carry out the video patrols on known street robbery hotspots, using a specially kitted-out vehicle.
The team has been in the Bradford area all week and will continue to help local divisions in the fight against street crime.
