A fun day held in Keighley on Saturday to raise awareness of adult learning opportunities was a huge success.
The event -- in Town Hall Square -- was organised by Keighley College to coincide with national Adult Learners Week.
Visitors were able to enjoy a wide range of attractions.
Keighley Amateur Radio Society made contact with people around the world as it demonstrated its state-of-the-art technology, there was a display from Keighley Model Engineering Society, and the Bradford-based volunteer radio station, Sovereign, gave a show led by DJ Steve White.
Other demonstrations ranged from henna painting and hair and beauty to brickwork, and robots -- including Hefty of BBC TV "Robot Wars" fame.
There were numerous stalls with information about college courses.
The public also had the opportunity to visit the computer centre in the college basement, where visitors could discover more about UK Online.
Marketing staff at the college say they were delighted with the response -- from college personnel and from the public -- to the event.
