A 33-year-old Silsden man was taken to hospital after being stabbed on Airedale Street in Bingley last night.
The man, believed to be a doorman at the Old Library wine bar on Main Street, was attacked at the back of the Library Theatre around 10pm.
He was taken to Airedale General Hospital where his injuries were not thought to be serious.
John Newsham, landlord of the Fer-rands Arms, said there had been disturbances in the town over the last few weeks and he planned to raise the issue with fellow members of Pubwatch at their June meeting.
"I am not happy about it and I will speak to other members of Pub-watch to find out what can be done. There was trouble on Friday and it has got to be affecting trade. We do very well here and get rid of trouble very quickly but it will get to the stage where people don't want to go out because of the hassle."
Police are investigating the incident and appeal for anyone with infor-mation to contact 0845 6060606.
