Pool Mills gained four points from a drawn game with Upper Wharfedale after posting a score of 175-9.
They lost opener Bernard Thornton cheaply but then Ian Grossett (37) and Jeff Bielby (45) steadied things before Clive Baldwin gave the middle order a boost with a knock of 46 and there was a late flurry of 21 not out from Scott Poole.
With Richard Wilkinson and son Paul bagging seven wickets between them Mills were always in the driving seat despite solid knocks from P Drinkall (34), L Barrett (32) and C Stead (27).
Despite a superb innings of 76 from number three G Harvey Addingham were unable to rub off the 130 made by Thackley.
