Lee Radford has more reason than most to remember last season's record-breaking 96-16 win over Salford.
His try was his only one in almost two-and-a-half seasons for the Bulls and provided him with a rare highlight in a bitterly disappointing personal campaign under former coach Matthew Elliott.
"To be polite, I thought I should have played much more than I did," explained the 22-year-old.
"I actually thought I started last season quite well but then I was left out of the cup semi-final against Warrington at Headingley and, to be honest, it completely knocked me for six.
"I just had to keep plugging away in the Alliance team but when I did get a chance it was never an extended run and I could never get used to the pace of the Super League game."
But it simply made him more determined to make his mark this season and is has clearly helped being able to start with a clean slate under new coach Brian Noble.
"Brian and the rest of the coaching staff have been great with me and I feel that things are starting to fall into place for me.
"I have been given my chance and it feels like I have played as much time already this season as I did last.
"Instead of just making up the numbers and coming on for the last 20 minutes I'm starting to make an impact and showing what I can do."
His upturn in fortunes was highlighted this week with selection for the Yorkshire squad to face Lancashire at Headingley in the "Origin Match" early next month.
"It was a big surprise," admits Radford (pictured). "Of course you hope that you might have a chance but I didn't have a clue unil Jimmy Lowes told me the news.
"Now I'm really looking forward to it and hoping to stay fit over the next couple of games.
"Jamie Peacock and myself are the only regular second-rowers in the Yorkshire squad so I may even start.
"But there will be five substitutes per-side for the Yorkshire match so I'm sure to get a run at some stage."
First Radford hopes to help but Salford to the sword and he could make another start depending on injuries.
"It's just great to be involved from week-to-week but I know I have to keep working hard to stay in the side because we have such a strong squad with a lot of versatility."
