Geoffrey Richmond is happy to meet the Bradford City critics head-on as Valley Parade is shrouded in uncertainty.
Chairman Richmond (pictured) and boss Jim Jefferies will face the fans in an open meeting on Tuesday when they could be in for some tough probing about the club's summer policy.
It comes in the week Richmond asked his manager whether he felt able to continue the job because he looked so down about the £5m player budget for next season.
Fans also fear that icon Stuart McCall could be forced out of the club after being offered a 60 per cent pay cut.
Richmond said: "There have been a series of recent events which need to be discussed and explained to the supporters by myself and the manager.
"Supporters forums in the past have always been hugely successful and have usually been held at times like this where there are issues that need to be brought out into the open and fully explained.
"It's always been the policy of the club in the seven years I've been here that a regular opportunity is given to supporters to ask the difficult questions and receive a full and frank reply."
City supporters club chairman Mark Neale said: "It's typical of Geoffrey being responsive to the fans. There are a lot of concerns and once again he has addressed them quickly.
"You can never accuse him of not involving the supporters."
Tuesday's meeting will take place in the banqueting suite above the Up Front superstore at 7.30pm. Admission is £1 for the Bradford Burns Unit.
