Andy Hutchinson hit a massive 145 not out for Thornton as they scored a 60-run win over Great Horton.
He received good support from Mick Shanks (80) as Thornton made 251 for four declared.
Great Horton tried valiantly to make the runs but were all out for 191 despite the efforts of Manish Govan (53) and Shabir Zaman (78).
There was a high scoring match at Jer Lane where Girlington made 282 for eight thanks to a good knock from Khalid Mahmood (74no).
Jeremy Illingworth (50) and John Shutt (68) hit back as Jer Lane finished tantalisingly on 280 for nine.
Bill Sugden (76) made the top score in Shelf's total of 201 for five at Bingley. But Shelf were to regret dropping Tim Burnley before he had scored. He finished unbeaten on 91 as Bingley won by six wickets.
Oxenhope had John Hargreaves (62) to thank for enabling them to pass Crossflatts' total of 206 with eight wickets down.
Allerton piled up 284 against Hepworth/Idle with Dave McDermott hitting a stunning 136. A demoralised Hepworth/Idle were dismissed for 144.
Craig Binns hit 75 in BT Bradford's 241 for eight but they could not bowl out Salem Athletic who finished on 148 for nine with John Green scoring 57.
Westwood's Australian imports did them proud yet again. Tom Kerr made 91 of his side's 175 for six and then Mick Deverett took four for 14 in ten tight overs to dismiss Eldwick and Gilstead for 90.
Adwalton put together a useful 232 for five, with Phil Bennet (80) and Ian Lindley (62no) making the highest scores. Bob Atkin (53no) and Les Smirthwaite (56) led the reply for Wibsey Park Chapel who fini-shed on 235 for six to win by four wickets.
