Defending champions Pudsey Congs will expect to strengthen their place at the top of the Bradford League Division One after today's round of matches.
Unbeaten Congs, who have won four matches and secured two four-point draws, will fancy their chances at Gomersal who are finding life in the top flight difficult following promotion in their first season in the League.
Congs' strength in depth was amply illustrated when they totalled 268 for eight in their drawn match at home to Hanging Heaton on Saturday and they should be too strong for next to the bottom Gomersal who have won only one match all season.
The strength of the Congs side was demonstrated on Saturday.
They lost their first three batsmen, Andy Bethel, Stuart Clifton, Barbar Butt for 39, but James Middlebrook, Neil Nicholson, Glen Roberts and skipper Matthew Doidge all came good to help Congs post the biggest score of the day.
Congs' nearest challengers are Farsley and they can make it five wins in a row when they visit bottom club Brighouse.
Skipper Ashley Metcalfe will be hoping that in-form Yorkshire second team opener Chris Taylor has recovered from the foot injury that caused him to retire when he was 59 not out in Saturday's five-wicket win over East Bierley.
Bierley will expect to get their title challenge back on course when they play Yeadon at home and they could have Yorkshire batsman Michael Lumb returning to their side to join his County colleague Gavin Hamilton now that the Yorkshire match against Northamptonshire has finished a day early.
Pudsey St Lawrence may also have their Yorkshire all-rounder Gary Fellows back in their side for the home match against Spen Victoria whose confidence was boosted by their victory over neighbours Gomersal on Saturday.
There is a derby at Jenny Lane where Baildon will be looking to bounce back from their defeat at Cleckheaton when they entertain Bradford & Bingley.
Cleckheaton's win will also give them confidence for the difficult trip to Hanging Heaton.
