A sixth form centre has been praised by Ofsted inspectors.
Rastrick High School was inspected in March this year and Government standards inspectors said standards in the school had improved since the last inspection in 1996.
While quality of teaching was seen across all year groups, inspectors were impressed with the standard of teaching in sixth form lessons.
It was praised for high expectations, teachers' expertise, broad extra-curricular provision and supportive monitoring by personal tutors.
