An award-winning photographer has been given an unusual form of sponsorship - a fridge.
Alex Handley, studying for a degree in photography at Bradford College, holds one of the most prestigious prizes in student photography - winner of the 1999 Fuji Student Award.
The 32-year-old is working on a portfolio of pictures of the Hog Riders, cult bikers similar to Hell's Angels, but to complete this he needed 'a fridgeful of film'. This is because working photographers store film in refrigerated conditions.
So that's exactly what joint sponsors Bradford firms Zymo Marketing and PR and web design specialists Inphi.net, have given him. The companies, both at the Business and Innovation Centre on Angel Way, banded together to buy it.
Inphi.net co-founder Stuart Jones said: "We are two young and successful firms and we believe Alex will go far. My brother Darren and I know how inspiring it can be when somebody believes in you as a new firm."
