Police in Bradford are investigating two separate arson attacks on Saturday.
The first incident involved a fire-bomb type missile being thrown into a summer house in a garden in the Braithwaite area of Keighley.
The incident happened at 9.30pm and two appliances went to the scene. A fire service spokesman said: "Police were called in to investigate the attack.
"It appears to have been something like a petrol bomb which was thrown. We confined the blaze to the roof of the summer house where the bomb had hit."
Nobody was injured in the attack, but the occupants of the house were badly shaken.
In the second incident at Four Lane Ends, an old stone-built garage in Crow Tree Lane, off Allerton Road, was set alight at around 10.15pm.
The alarm was raised by the home owners and firefighters from Bradford and Fairweather Green attended. A fire service spokesman said: "It gutted the garage which might now have to be demolished due to structural damage."
