Farsley are forging ahead in the Bradford League second teams First Division table.
They took ten points from the double weekend of Spring Bank Holiday matches against East Bierley away and Brighouse at home while their other rivals faltered.
Gomersal shot into second place after taking maximum points, beating Spen Victoria at home and Pudsey Congs away.
Quizam Mahmood with 66 not out and in-form opener Steve Simpson with 51 were top scorers as consistent batting enabled Farsley to total 253 for four. Opener Paul Huddlestone scored 58 as Bierley settled for a draw on 171 for six, 82 behind.
Gomersal crushed Spen by 183 runs. Paul Nicholson scored 74 and Andrew Fearnsides, 50 as Gomersal totalled 254 for 7 and David Hilton then took six for 33 as Spen were shot out for 71.
Kevin Boynton was the match winner when they beat Congs by 73 runs two days later. He took eight for 19 in 15.2 overs as Congs were dismissed for 90.
Two other teams in form were Hanging Heaton and Pudsey St Lawrence, who took ten points from the double weekend.
Hanging Heaton were denied victory at home to Congs by the visitors' last wicket pair as the Pudsey side replied with 148 for nine in reply to 172 for nine, but they had no trouble in winning at Cleckheaton.
Leigh Manton scored 64 not out as Hanging Heaton made 176 for nine. Cleckheaton were then bowled out for 88 with Michael Horner taking six for 28.
St Lawrence beat Yeadon at home by 31 runs with David Robertshaw (5-15) and Nigel Rider (2-38) mopping up the tail as Yeadon lost their last six wickets for 25 and were all out for 170 in reply to the home side's total of 201 for seven.
Two days later, Pudsey were denied by Spen Victoria's last wicket pair as the home side hung for a point at 166 for seven in reply to 206 for six.
Gary Severn was Pudsey's top scorer with 52 not out while Peter Jackson held the early of Spen's inning together before a late collapse almost cost them the match. They were comfortably placed at 149 for three, but then lost six wickets for 17 runs.
Bradford & Bingley won a run chase at Undercliffe, scoring by five wickets with 3.5 overs to spare after the home side had totalled 186 for eight. Two days later they settled for one point at home to Baildon, finishing on 190 for seven in reply to the visitors' total of 225 for six. Baildon's top scorer was James Butterfield with 85 not out while Martin Dobson hit 78 for Bingley.
Woodlands had the better of a drawn match against Bankfoot in the Bowes Section of the Second Division, their total of 244 for five being too many for Bankfoot, who made a great start with an opening stand of 91 between Paul Rafferty (53 not out) and Paul Kellett (57, but settled for a draw at 155 for two.
Kellett was also in good form the following day, leading Bankfoot to a seven wicket victory with 92 not out after they bowled out Saltaire for 108.
Idle took maximum points in the Bowes Section, beating Saltaire by six wickets and Drighlington by eight wickets. Paul Howker took six for 35 as Drighlington were bowled for 76.
