Brighouse and Rastrick Band took the winner's trophy at the All England Masters Brass Band Championships on Sunday.
Twenty-one of England's top amateur brass bands competed for one of the three major brass band titles in the annual brass band calendar, and Yorkshire-based bands took four of the first six places in the Championship.
Each band performed the set test piece - Pageantry by Herbert Howells - in front of three adjudicators.
Allan Withington conducted Brighouse and Rastrick to glory. This is the third time in the competition's history that they have been victorious - last winning the title in 1988.
Band president Paul Beaumont took to the stage to receive the Championship Trophy and a cheque for £3,500 on behalf of the band.
The triumph capped a hectic but successful weekend for the band.
Last Friday, the famous purple and gold uniformed combination featured in a live broadcast of Radio 2's popular programme Friday Night is Music Night at St George's Hall in Bradford as part of BBC Music Live.
