Branwell Bront came back to life at his former home to tell the story of his three famous sisters.
The Bront Parsonage's education officer Andrew McCarthy dressed up as the wayward brother to entertain youngsters and adults as part of the national Museums and Galleries month.
The drama took place at the Parsonage Museum at Haworth, the former home of the literary sisters.
Andrew, pictured meeting his sisters, from left, Lisa, Ruby and Rose Williams, will be retelling his anecdotes at the Howarth tourist attraction at 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Thursday.
Further events are planned for the weekend, including the annual general meeting of the Bront Society.
