A Heckmondwike-based firm has come up with a winning website redesign for outdoor clothing company Regatta.

By adding weather forecasts, news items and a monthly competition, brand strategy and design business Bluedoor interactive has increased visitors to the site by 25 per cent.

Marketing director for Regatta Graham Rickard said he was impressed with the improvements made to www.regatta.com.

"We have been working with Bluedoor since launching the Regatta web site and have been delighted with the results.

"This latest update was particularly important because not only were we launching new interest features on the site, but we were also moving to a dotcom address."

Bluedoor worked with the existing Regatta branding to redesign the interface and organise the site structure with easy-to-use functions.

Set up eight years ago, the company employs 20 staff and had a turnover of £1.4 million last year, which is projected to rise to £2million for 2001.
