Footpaths and bridleways which cut across farmland in the Keighley area will remain closed while there is still a risk of foot and mouth.
Restrictions on areas of agricultural land, open grazing land and moorland, which were closed because of the threat of the disease will remain, even though the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food says the Bradford district is no longer an infected area.
Bradford Council officers will review the policy when more is known about the extent of outbreaks in the Yorkshire Dales -- including Gargrave.
The council is, however, re-opening footpaths and bridleways in urban areas where there is no threat to livestock.
Executive member for the environment, Councillor Anne Hawkesworth, said: "We will not be opening up more sites and footpaths before we carry out a risk assessment.
"We need to keep an eye on developments in the Dales because we do not want to see another outbreak in the Bradford district."
She added: "Over the last few weeks, we have opened up a number of sites following detailed risk assessments."
Footpaths and bridleways still closed include those through Haworth Moor, Keighley Moor and the Bront moors west of Keighley.
Paths and bridleways in which are now open include Parkwood and Holden Park Wood, in Keighley; Keighley Tarn, Elam Wood, Riddlesden; Penistone Hill and Brow Moor, in Haworth; and Harden Moor.
Areas which were closed and are now being re-opened include paths across Keighley Golf Club, Utley to Elam Wood Road and Goit Stock Woods, in Harden. Bridleways at Hallas Lane and Cullingworth Road to Manywell Heights, in Cullingworth, have also been re-opened.
