AT last a line has been drawn under the 2000/2001 Craven League soccer season, with the final league tables now completed and the individual and team honours resolved.
The question of promotion and relegation is now an issue which passes to the league's Management Committee.
They will assess what changes will need to be made and put their recommendations to the member clubs in due course.
On the scoring front, honours in the Silentnight Premier Division went to Ian Barnard from Skipton Bulldogs, who found the target 29 times in all to head off the challenge of Steve Newton from Clitheroe United with 23 and Steve Morphet (Skipton LMS) with 20.
Richard Hargreaves from Skipton Town in Division One was the league's top scorer with 33, beating Neil Rollins (Bronte Wanderers) on 31 and James Robinson (Bradley), who finished with 22.
Mark Westfall missed part of the season with injury, but the Lothersdale striker finished in impressive style to take his tally to 29, Jamie Cunningham (Silsden Athletic) following him home with 25 and John Lawrence (Lothersdale) taking third spot with 22.
In Division Three, defences were much tighter, Paul Clarke from McBrides leading the way with 20, followed by Paul Jarvis (Earby) on 17 and Mark Harrison (Waddington) on 16.
Arguably the most important of the individual awards in a season fraught with problems form first to last was the Administration Trophy and that has gone this season to Matt Lord, the Registration Secretary.
David Daggett from Grassington United was voted Player of the Year in the Silentnight Premier Division, while Richard Hargreaves was top scorer and top player in Division One.
Tommy Robertson from Barrowford United took the Division Two honours, with David Jackson from Skipton Town Reserves the Division Three winner
