Saltaire pace bowler Mohammed Waseem took eight wickets but finished on the losing side at Manningham Mills in the first of the Inter-Divisional matches.
Mills, who play in the Verity Sec-tion, were bowled out for 145, Waseem taking eight for 65 in 22.4 overs, but the home side also had an outstanding pace bowler in Sarfraz Butt.
Saltaire, from the Bowes Section, struggled from the start, losing four wickets for two runs as they slid from 53 for three to 55 for seven in mid-innings and they were bowled out for 101 as Mills won by 44 runs, with Butt taking seven for 37 in 14 overs.
Salts' revival came to a dramatic end in their home match against Bowes Section side Keighley.
Pace bowler Ross Towler took seven for 35 in 16.1 overs as Salts were bowled out for a paltry 68, and Keighley won by seven wickets, Australian Joel Crouch scoring 31 not out.
Verity Section leaders Mirfield beat Idle at home by five wickets. Hassan Adnam scored 70, including one six and ten fours, as Idle to-talled 158 for six, but Mirfield won with three overs to spare, John Storey making 66 not out.
Bankfoot, who are second in the Bowes Section, overcame the Verity Section's second-placed club Light-cliffe by seven wickets after bowling them out for 127.
Pace bowler Greg Colehan took four wickets for Bankfoot, who reached their target in 37.1 overs with overseas all-rounder Saleem Mughal unbeaten on 43.
There was an interesting match be-tween the bottom two clubs in each section when Drighlington, of the Bowes Section, won at Windhill in a high-scoring game by four wickets, but Windhill took encouragement from the form of some of their younger players.
Fourteen-year-old Ian Nicholson (65) and Amjid Hussain (81 not out) shared a third-wicket stand of 118, which was the backbone of their total of 199 for three.
Drighlington struggled at the start and were 34 for two at one stage, but opener Khalid Mehmood held them together with an innings of 91, including 14 fours, before captain Richard Whitehurst and Simon Phillips guided them home.
Off-spinner David Nebard took five for 32 in 6.1 overs as Morley beat Esholt away by 27 runs after posting a total of 147.
The match between Bowes Section leaders Woodlands and Hartshead Moor ended in a one-point draw af-ter rain stopped play early.
Adam Goldthorpe scored 59 in Woodlands' total of 205 for six, while overseas player Safraz Ahmed took four for 28 in 19 overs as Hartshead struggled to 100 for seven before the rain came.
