Hosts Pudsey, who needed a count-up on games to win their semi-final against Cleckheaton the previous weekend in the Bradford Junior League Under-18 play-off, triumphed by the same method in the final against Keighley.
The rubbers were tied at 3-3, Pudsey taking the title by virtue of winning five more games than Keighley.
"The standard of play was excellent - particularly in the match between the No 1s Tom Robinson (Pudsey) and Robin Mann (Keigh-ley)," said league organiser Marilyn Meer.
"And the match between the No 4s Richard Saville (Pudsey) and Gerard Heselwood, which went to Keighley 6-4, was as dogged as you could wish to see.
"Also the manners of all the players was exemplary, and they were quiet too!"
Scores (Pudsey names first): Tom Robinson lost to Robin Mann 7-6; Daniel Cox bt Robert McLean 7-6; Jonathan Thornton, pictured, bt Alex Murgatroyd 6-2; Richard Saville lost to Gerard Heselwood 6-4; Saville & Thornton bt Hazelwood & Murgatroyd 6-1; Cox & Robinson lost to Mann & McLean 6-4. Match score: 3-3 (Pudsey won 33-28 on countback of games).
