Bradford Bulls have brought forward the kick-off for Sunday's home game with Castleford to the afternoon, amid fears that fans may stay away because of the recent trouble in the area.
The Super League clash at Valley Parade will now begin at 3pm rather than the usual 6pm slot.
Bulls will not give an official reason for the switch but it is understood to be as a result of the weekend riot in Manningham and the reluctance of some supporters to park in the area during the evening.
Valley Parade escaped any damage during the trouble, although a burned out car was abandoned just yards away.
Fans have voiced their concerns on the club's official website and the gate for the Tigers clash could be affected.
Bulls plan to talk to Bradford Council about laying on extra buses to the stadium.
Aussie forward Daniel Gartner will be fit to return on Sunday.
He missed Friday's 40-0 romp over Hull with a neck problem but has been back in training.
Leon Pryce and Lee Radford did not figure in that game either but could feature at the weekend as coach Brian Noble rotates his squad.
Noble said: "It is important we keep people fresh and bring others in."
