Yorkshire Forward is looking for ideas from the business community to help boost the rural economy through the third stage of its recovery programme.
Grants totalling £500,000 are now available from the regional development agency which is looking for ideas to be submitted to its Rural Renaissance Team by July 31.
In order to apply, organisations should send a proposal to Yorkshire Forward covering how they intend to collaborate and support the businesses they represent, adding value and their contribution to the economy.
Proposals should include a demonstration of the impact of foot and mouth disease on companies and the costs associated with an outline action plan. For more information ring Yorkshire Forward on 0113 394 9600.
