A man who went missing four months ago from the tent he had been living in high on the fells above Keighley has still not been traced.
The Keighley police missing person file is still open on 38 year-old Paul Jefferson, a jobless window fitter.
And his sister, Caron Callaghan, of Thornton, Bradford, continues to suffer sleepless nights worrying about his well-being.
Mr Jefferson lived throughout last winter in a tent in woodland at Ponden reservoir, Stanbury, near Keighley, but was last seen on March 3. He left behind his tent, some personal belongings and a hire car.
After an appeal in the Telegraph & Argus in April, he wrote to his two children, but failed to leave an address where he could be contacted. The family were concerned about his mental state.
Mrs Callaghan said she was still very worried about his safety.
"It's very hard because whenever we hear about a missing person being found dead, we can't help but think it might be Paul until they are identified,'' she added.
"I have just returned from holiday and I was convinced there would be a letter waiting for me from Paul, but there wasn't. It's very upsetting.
"We still need to be assured he is OK. If somebody knows where he is and can contact us and tell us he is fine, we would be really grateful."
Detective Inspector Trevor Gasson, of Keighley police, said: "We still need to contact Mr Jefferson to make sure no harm has come to him. If we can make contact with him, we can close the file."
When he was reported missing, police combed the moorland and swept the area in a helicopter and divers searched Ponden reservoir.
Mr Jefferson was living in a house in Foston Lane, Bradford, before he moved into the tent.
Anyone with information should contact Keighley police on (01535) 617059.
