Expansion needs have prompted Lifemode Logistics to move to a new home in 10,000 sq ft warehouse premises in Keighley's Parkwood Street.
Managing director Chris Maddocks, who lives at Oakworth, said: "The relocation from Snaygill will help us to continue to provide and develop a range of services aimed at creating a professional, reliable and complete system for today's retail supply chain market to the household and home furnishings sector."
Chris, Keighley born and bred and educated at Holy Family School, said: "We have come to better and cheaper premises at Progress Works, in Keighley. They are ideal for us. They have offices and showrooms which will enable us to expand the sales side of the business."
Lifemode's household and home furnishings department specialises in glassware, ranging from crackle vases to exclusive wine goblets, supplemented by ceramics and other goods.
The warehouse and distribution side of the business operates a fully integrated portfolio of product sourcing, supply and distribution.
It uses the latest communications technology to manage the day to day logistics operations for a wide range of household names, including Homebase, House of Fraser, Bhs, Debenhams, Next, Allders, Boots and Harrods, together with other large and small retailers.
Lifemode, which was formed in June last year by Chris, currently employs three people but is expecting to recruit at least one more by the end of the month. Several seasonal temporary jobs will be created later in the year.
