It was a day of celebration for five generations of a Silsden family who joined together to mark the 100th birthday of a well-known woman.
Eva Heaps was joined by daughter Iris, granddaughter Lynne, great-granddaughter Tracey and great-great-granddaughter Danielle for a party at Sunnybank Social Club.
Also joining her for the party was sister May, 97, and her cousin George, 91.
Iris said: "We are a very close family -- like it should be. My mother still lives in her own home at Daisy Hill and I look after her.
"We had a marvellous party, it was wonderful to see everybody -- there was dancing, a disco and songs for the older ones.
"The memory will live on in the family of a wonderful day and my mother and I would like to thank all our relations, neighbours and friends for their generous gifts and cards and flowers."
Lynne added: "We are all pretty similar in that we are all independent and strong minded -- you can't tell my grandma anything if she doesn't want to do it.
"We all had a brilliant time and it was a very special day."
Eva, who is one of ten children and has lived in Silsden all her life, celebrated her birthday on July 4.
From the age of 12, Eva spent half her day at school and the other half working at Taylor Brothers mill as a twister and spinner.
She married Squire Heaps and only stopped work at the mill when she was 73 to look after her husband who had cancer.
They had two children, Iris, 74, and Brian, who died two years ago.
As well as celebrating with her family, Eva also toasted her good health with friends at the Moor Lane centre and at the Punch Bowl, in Silsden, where she was treated to a rendition of Happy Birthday.
