Bradford Food Festival organisers are offering a 'Brucie Bonus' to grub-loving families who can help spice up this year's event.
The city's second food festival, which is due to take place in September and is supported by the Telegraph & Argus, is to hold its own version of the Generation Game and is on the look out for family teams willing take part in a variety of cookery challenges.
Festival organiser Simon Dunn said: "We're looking for three generations of families to come and have a go. We want teams of grandmothers, mothers and daughters to get involved and we're also hoping to get some granddads, dads and sons cooking for male pride too.
"They will have to devise their own menu of a main course, side-dish and dessert and then cook-off against another family until we get a winner.
"It should be a lot of fun so we're hoping a lot of people will give it a try."
The Generation Game is one of a host of events planned for this year's festival, including a return of last year's highly successful Ready Steady Cook challenge between the Bradford Bulls and Bradford City.
Last year Bulls' skipper Robbie Paul triumphed over City's Lee Sharpe with a culinary creation from his native New Zealand.
Other events planned include three major meals - a gourmet dinner at Bradford College, a Taste of Asia feast at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television, and an Oriental banquet at Pennington's nightclub in Manningham. There will also be a festival food market in Centenary Square.
Celebrity chefs Andrew Nutter and John Benson Smith, Northern Chef of the Year, will be among those displaying their skills at the daily cookery theatre which, this year, is moving inside from Centenary Square to the Hilton Hotel.
Mr Dunn said he hoped that the festival would help to bring Bradford's communities together after the riots, through the celebration of food.
He said: "We have a diverse and vibrant city and we should use things like the food festival to show that to the world."
