Students from The Girls' Grammar School, Bradford, have been getting expert tips for a shares competition from Morrisons' managing director John Dowd.
The school is one of 12 taking part in the BWD Rensburg competition and chose to invest its money in supermarket chains. They were given a behind-the-scenes look at the the Morrisons operation.
Mr Dowd said: "We are delighted to have a record of 33 years' unbroken growth.
"Morrisons is a unique operation because almost every aspect of our operation is managed in-house."
