A Bradford recruitment firm has adopted a radical new fitness technique.
Relay Recruitment is hoping the installation of an in-house gym, and personal trainer, will boost staff. Former boxer Charlie Watson will be introducing employees to a new US-based method which involves lifting and balancing a large rubber ball.
The 'body ball' workout requires high levels of concentration which, it is claimed, can sharpen the mind. Managing director Steven Street said: "The basic premise is 'healthy mind, healthy body... healthy business'.
''We hope the revolutionary emphasis on mental acuity will raise working efficiencies while by-promoting physical well-being and agility, absenteeism and workplace injuries will be kept to a minimum."
