Junior Witter is fully aware that he has everything to lose and little to gain when he steps into the ring at Sheffield's Ponds Forge Leisure Centre on Saturday.
The Bradford light-welterweight takes on Newcastle's Alan Tem-ple knowing that everybody expects him to win with ease.
"There is everything to lose and little to gain for me but I am prepared for that," said the confident 27-year-old.
"I know that everybody is expecting me to stop him in a couple of rounds. That is what I want to do, but if it takes a little longer then so be it. I am not going to take any stupid risks trying to get the fight over with quickly.
"Any boxer can produce one sensational punch. Just ask Lennox Lewis about that."
Witter, who is number one contender for the vacant British crown, is determined that he won't suffer the same way against a boxer who has lost 13 of his 25 fights.
