Guiseley will play host to Division One side Bradford City in a pre-season friendly at Nethermoor Park on Monday (7.30 pm).
Guiseley manager Neil Parsley has arranged the game which will be followed by another on Friday, July 27, at home to one of his former clubs Huddersfield Town.
Guiseley have a string of friendlies lined up as they prepare for another season in Division one of the UniBond League but apart from those against professional clubs they will be away from home.
Other friendlies are at Garforth Town on Tuesday, July 24; at Harrogate Railway on Wednesday, August 1; at Tadcaster Albion on Wednesday, August 8; and at Yorkshire Amateurs on Saturday, August 11.
The Reserve team will also have some friendlies against local clubs.
Parsley is hoping to unveil some of his new signings against City in particular former West Ham defender Danny Strodder and midfielder Simon Collins who has been freed by Macclesfield Town.
He also hopes to have other new names in the frame as well as giving some of the club's up and coming youngsters a go.
Guiseley have been preparing for the new season with three times a week training sessions and have had the benefit of a fitness coach this time around.
The Guiseley Reserve and Youth teams have had an influx of players wanting to play at a good level.
The UniBond League season opens on Saturday, August 18, with Guiseley at home to Leek Town. The Reserve fixtures in the Lancashire League are not yet available but they will face new clubs in Chester City, Barrow, Accrington Stanley, Rossendale and Ossett Town as well as the likes of Morecambe, Southport and Northwich.
