Almost £15,000 is being spent on improvements to parks and public places in Keighley and surrounding villages.
Silsden, Steeton, Oakworth, Haworth, Oxenhope, Riddlesden, Stockbridge and Parkwood are among areas due to benefit.
The cash comes from a £17,000 package of environmental improvements agreed by Keighley Area Panel.
A £1,300 grant will go to Cark Road, in Showfield, below Cliffe Castle park, where residents will be encouraged to develop "community gardens".
Grants of £1,000 will be spent on a skateboard area in Gas Street, Haworth, vegetable growing in Broster Avenue, Braithwaite, and a bowls pavilion and kitchen improvements on Highfield recreation ground.
A further £1,000 will be spent on efforts to clean up the derelict site of the former Rovers Return pub, behind Hainworth Wood Community Centre.
A disused pavilion in Cross Roads Park will be refurbished so it can be used by the junior football club.
A missing balustrade will be replaced in Oakworth Park, picnic tables will be replaced in Cross Roads Park, and play areas will receive £500 of improvements in Oxenhope Park.
Silsden Park will benefit from £1,650 spending on improvements to the BMX area and anti-graffiti paint on the pavilion. And £1,000 will be given to Silsden's Swimstart scheme.
Other work includes: murals on walls, and aviaries, in Cliffe Castle; a new bench in Steeton; benches on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal towpath in Riddlesden; fencing improvements in Stockbridge; footpath improvements in Parkwood; replacement litter bins in Keighley town centre.
A bid for £1,200 to build a volleyball court on the former bowling green in Devonshire Park was unsuccessful.
Other failed bids included garden improvements in West Gate Gardens, Oxenhope, tennis pavilion repairs in Haworth, improvements and grit bins in Long Lee and Parkwood.
