Bradford man Donald Neilson was found guilty this afternoon of murdering three sub-postmasters. He was sentenced to life. The jury at Oxford Crown Court took five hours and two minutes to reach their verdicts. The trial took 12 days and the verdicts were unanimous.

The fifth annual sports meeting of Bradford Police Boys' Club was held at Undercliffe cricket ground last night when Belle Vue Grammar School won both the junior and senior championships. The Bradford 100yd championship was won by D Day (Sedbergh Boys' Club).
