Two pint-sized Boxer pups have been dumped on the doorstep of the appropriately-named Dog and Gun pub.
Now the pups, called Timothy and Taylor after the brewery which owns the Oxenhope pub, are looking for a new home.
Landlord Michael Roper, pictured right with one of the new arrivals, runs the pub with his wife, Katherine. He found the cute canines - pictured together below - on Saturday morning after he heard them whimpering in a cardboard box outside his front door.
"We think they're a girl and a boy, probably about three months old," he said. "My nine-year-old daughter Jodie wanted to keep them but we've already got two Springer Spaniels and two cats so there's no room at the inn, so to speak.
"The RSPCA said they would taken them in but added that they may put the puppies down if they couldn't find them a home.
"We don't want that, so we've come to the Telegraph & Argus to see if any readers will give the dogs a good home."
Anyone interested in the dogs is asked to contact Mr Roper on 01535 643159.
